Paul Earnest Sipple, Sr., was born in Germany on March 5, 1890. A resident of Shreveport since 1914, he rose through the ranks to become vice-president of the LR&N Co. and assistant to the president of KCS. This collection contains his memoirs (1968), newspapers, photographs, and publications about railroad development in Louisiana and southern Arkansas.
